I like the light.Don’t let the plastic deter you unless you really want glass. This is LED, it won’t get hot. check out video.The light looks good. Adjustable light temps from cool to warm. Easy to install if you are a handyman. If you don’t know what you are doing with electric hire someone who does.

Well, I absolutely love these and they put out a very nice natural light. I love it that I could adjust them to a brighter light, but this is absolutely perfect for the small space. Installation was a snap! I also love it that I do not have to replace lightbulbs because they have such a long lifespan.

The light is perfect for our kitchen both in size and brightness! It was also super easy to install. Took me less than 30 minutes to take my old light down and out this one up! It’s lightweight so it doesn’t strain your arms when installing it. I highly recommend this for anyone needing a good affordable light fixture!

I purchased this fixture after one from a different seller nearly caught my home on fire when the capacitor exploded. I waited months to repurchase after speaking to an electrician who said cheap componets are dangerous then couldnt tell me how to ensure i was buying something with quality componets. After all, my kids sleep in this home and i would rather deal with a dark room than put them in harms way. Finally, after much research and debating, I settled for this fixture that is UL Listed. I like how this fixture does not require replacement bulb and is still built well. The previous fixture had a plastic mounting bracket that was hardwired with a light that slid into place, it made me nervous from the start. This fixture seems much more secure and actually has screws holding everything in place. The presence of a UL listing made me much more confident in purchasing and the superior quality is noticeable for sure. Installation was a breeze and my light was working in less than five minutes! This light is a fresh change from the 80’s style fixture I was originally replacing. I feel confident in the safety of this light after checking several times and nothing gets hot while it’s in use, this was my main concern and im thankful to have found a product capable of providing some peace of mind after coming to terms with what could happen. Remember, cheap products = cheap componets. This light isnt the cheapest one on Amazon, but its well made and that could save your home or life. Thank you, seller, for a reliable and safe product that is also beautiful! I plan on buying a few more of these to replace more lighting in my home soon.

I’m trying to modernize my house by replacing old light fixtures on fans. You can go through the expensive route by purchasing lamps kits for your fan, which run about $90 each. It doesn’t seem practical when a new fan can be as low as $150. I bought the first light for a walk way by the kitchen island. At first I wanted to install a can light to replace an out dated light fixture. I found that the light fixture was supported by a shallow junction box. I would have had to remove the junction box to install a can light. I opted to replace the old fixture with this modern fixture. I liked it so much that I thought that I could replace the fan light fixtures in the bedrooms. You have two ways to mount the light. One way is to use the threaded tube. For this you have to modify the new light. The ground wire is removed and the power wires are passed through the center hole. Using small flush cutter, remove some of the plastic by the hole to allow the wire and the threaded tube to be side by side. Put washer and nut on the end of the tube. Put another washer and nut on the other end, lightly tighten to keep tube in place. Feed wire through the tube connect and connect them to the fan light wires. Screw the tube into fan mounting hole and your almost done. Select the light color with the lamp switch, put the lamp diffuser back and secure with the mounting ring and nuts. Now your done. The other mounting method is almost as easy. The three lamp shade holders are press fitted into the base assembly. The lamp shades, light sockets, and light have to be removed. Use 3/8″ drill to cut the press fitting. Once the light bases are removed place the new light fixture on the light base centering the middle holes. Using the inner mounting holes for the new light drill a couple of holes so some short sheet metal screws can secure the light fixture to the lamp base. The wires have been passed through center holes of the fixture and the light base, connect the wires, remount the lamp base, select light color temp and secure the diffuser with the mounting ring and nuts. Your done. It should take about an hour to make modifications to each lamp. Very happy with the new look for my fans.

After 30 years of having an ugly old rectangle florescent light fixture in my kitchen, I decided to replace it. This light is sleek and modern and really lovely. When you see it in the box, it looks kinda like a cheapie plastic light. But looks so nice once installed. It was a little tricky getting it up. I had to hold it up while on a second ladder so my husband could wire it and attach to the mounting screws. All in all, I’m so pleased with the improved light output in my kitchen (you can adjust the intensity of the light) We chose the brightest setting.
