1.Turn off the power firstly;
2.Fix the mounting plate to the outlet box;
3.Connect the wires;
4.Pass the mounting plate joint through the lamp body and fix the decorative nuts of the middle and the nuts of the edge;
5.Install bulb with E26 base.

The finish purchased is “oak.” It is supposed to look like a gray, wood finish. Instead, it looks like someone used a pencil to shade the finish. You cannot tell once it’s installed. Anyway, installing this was fairly easy. I did find, there was a small gap between the base of the fixture and the ceiling, for unknown reasons. The center cap to screw onto the base was as tight as it could be screwed, but there was still spacing left. What I did find most difficult, are the screws for each corner that secured the fixture to the base. They were short, and I dropped them so many times trying to screw them in. I recommend to have a helper, so they can pick them up for you. I replaced a 1 bulb, globe fixture; so this as the replacement brought 4xs the lighting for the kitchen. I am pleased.

I love these lights. I saw them and instantly loved. We were able to buy bright light bulbs for it and it really changed our kitchen. I just wish there was more in this collection. I could really use a matching pendant or semi flush light. My husband installed it. Outside of dropping the tiny screws a few times he didn’t seem to have too big of an issue.

While these were simple to install, I had to use spare screws I found in the basement to do so as one light was missing 3/4 of the mounting screws that hold the cage to the base. You lose two stars for sending out a product that cannot be installed without using mismatched screws.Looks-wise, these are merely ok. Because of the mess of wiring it won’t fit flush to the ceiling because all the wiring, plus the home wiring, won’t all fit in the electrical box.Good idea, bad execution.
