Warm Tips:
– The metal grommets are light duty, more for decoration, can’t hold heavy pulling. This grommets kit is ideal for 1-3 mm thick materials like leather, tarps, shoes, elastic bands, paper cards, and hanging crafts. Not suitable for fabrics or cloth.
– Please choose the right size that you need according to the product dimension description(Grommet Outside Diameter: 1/2 inch; Grommet Inside Diameter: 6mm, nearly 1/4 inch, but slightly less than 1/4 inch).
– You need to punch holes with a punching tool before using the buttonhole and pliers. You cannot skip the hole punch. The grommets aren’t heavy duty enough to be the hole punch and the grommet.
– Please pay attention to the direction of the buttonhole and the pliers, the wrong direction will cause damage to the buttonhole and make the pliers bend. Do not press too hard when using the pliers, the handle will bend. The grommet kit is light duty, not for heavy duty
– Add the washer to the grommet, which can help make eyelets stronger, and not easy to loosen.
– The bottom of the eyelets is a flowering design, it is not a defective effect, please kindly note.

Very easy to use, kit comes with everything you need. Prepare to repackage the grommets in a ziploc though because the plastic packaging they come in doesn’t reseal. I have a few of these in different sizes. Great value.

The grommets are very very thin, but the worst part is the poor alignment on the pliers. They’re either super soft and bent while I was installing the first grommet or they were out of alignment when I got them, but they don’t make very good contact and make it difficult to install the grommets properly. I end up having to finish up with a little hammer.

Great price. I needed to add grommets to a couple of cotton fabric mandala tapestry pieces. It worked alright. I used a wooden block underneath as recommended for the the hole cutting. That piece worked for just the first 2-3 holes and bent in so that piece was useless. I had to use scissors to cut out a small hole in fabric for each grommet. The grommets aren’t that high quality but work great for basic needs. They stay on well. Im going to have to buy some nicer finished grommets for clothes, jewelry or anything where the look of the grommet really matters. Grommets come in silver color & in gold color, which is nice. The pliers-looking part feels nice & sturdy. Easy to hold grip & easy to squeeze unlike some of the bigger bulkier types. It’s not heavy or uncomfortable to use, so a plus on ease of use.
