I purchased two of these, one worked great but the second was really buggy. I would tell it to close and it would get about 30% down and say it’s closed. Then I press the button the shade and it would go down another 6 inches and stop again, then hit it again and it would close. I ordered a replacement and now the first one that didn’t have a problem is doing the exact same thing, I tell it to close and it gets about 30% closed and it’s done, then I have to manually press the button to close it all the way. These also don’t report back to Zigbee that they have stopped moving, so they will say “opening” or “closing” perpetually until you force a stop (even though it’s already stopped), then it will indicate that it is X% open/closed. Very buggy and I had super high hopes but these are total garbage.UPDATE: After researching this issue online I find that a LOT of people have this problem. It can be corrected by continuously pressing the down button until the sensor detects it is closed and then pressing and holding stop of a few seconds to let it know it’s at the close position, but both my experience and online experiences are that this is temporary and will reset again in a few days. Having to manually manipulate the shade every week isn’t my idea of automation in any way whatsoever.

Installed right away. I have all the tools so it was quite easy. Just read the manual and understand how to install the bracket and clip the blind on.Installed the app and did a firmware update. Hooked up to Alexa to use voice command to open/close. Also setup a schedule to open at morning and close when it is dark. Found I use the voice command more. All smooth. Didn’t see any issues the blind could get stuck. Always open/close as it should be. Maybe I did the firmware update? I always check any firmware update for those smart devices.Very happy about this blind. Thinking about get another one for backyard window.

The installation is easy as long as you pick the right size before purchase. The motor is quiet and the overall quality is better than IKEA which has a higher price point.

These blinds are a breeze to install. drill two holes and screw in bracket.lift shade up and snap into the two brackets. doesn’t get any easier than that. When they say Blackout, they mean blackout. The blinds are supper quite. Shop around, you can find more expensive blinds, but how’s their quality?
