This jig is awesome! It is very high quality and very precise. The case is solid and fits the tool perfectly. The instructions are easy to follow and set up is very easy.It is expensive. No getting around that! But I think it’s totally worth it. Time is money and this jig will save you a lot of time if you are building cabinets and drawers on a fairly regular basis. Even for a weekend woodworker like me…I’m able to really use my limited time in the shop more efficiently because of this jig.Personally, I think the ‘Pro’ version is an absolute must. If you are doing multiple drawers that are the same size, it’s a time-saver.

I’m someone who has always been willing to pay a “Premium” for high quality tools. I have to admit however, at $200 I was apprehensive about buying the True Position Cabinet Jig. Rest assured; this jig is worth every penny. It is extremely well made, easy to use and was perfect for the Shaker Style Cabinets I installed in my kitchen. There is no way the handles / drawer pulls would look as consistent from cabinet to cabinet as they do with the cheap plastic drill guide included with the handles. One of the features I liked most were the “Spacing Pins” included with the jig, to ensure the screw holes match perfectly with the hardware being installed. They also included a drill bit in the kit. So, if you’re unsure about spending a little extra money…go for it. You won’t be disappointed!!

This is a very well designed tool. It makes it very easy to position handles on drawers.

DIY’er, about 60 handles in the new house. I’ve used other jigs in previous little projects, this one works much better than those imo.First, the amount of thinking put into the design of this tool makes it worth its price. Very nice build, easy to read, well-thought out. Functionally, couldn’t be easier to use once set up. The kit comes in a cheap box but works well. The tool does take some practice and testing. The main stop on mine was not true when tightened down. The tightening screw on this slide is off from center, which puts a twist when tightened. There are two set screws which need to be adjusted before going crazy drilling holes. I set a small speed square against the edges and got it pretty darn close. I would check squareness of tool after every few holes, and of course after adjusting for the next handle or door size.My handles were a bunch of different sizes for each different door. I set up the tool for size #1, marked each drawer/door to drill, then just drilled all that size. Then, set up the tool for size #2, do all the doors of that size. Once set, drilling holes is super quick. My first time using the tool I did 21 (4 different sizes, from 3″ to 12″) handles in 3 hours. My next dozen doors (next day) took about 30 minutes. If you have any handle greater than 7″ on a cabinet door, or 11″ on drawer, you will need the extended rulers. If you are gonna get this tool then you are likely not one to mess around. Get the expanded kit from the get go and don’t get caught shorthanded. The expansion kit is more expensive later.I was able to do a 12″ handle for a drawer front by offsetting the center mark then flipping the tool for each hole. But for handles on the doors I had to get the extensions.Overall a great tool for my collection, and worth more than its selling price for sure.(Handles in picture are also from Amazon, Koofizo brand, awesome handles).

OMG! This thing is a laboratory-grade piece of gear!! Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely!!! I’m a basement/kitchen/bath remodeler for a living so it put in a several dozen cabinets every year. I should have bought this years ago. If you install bath or kitchen cabinets on a semi-regular to full-time basis, this tool will pay for itself quickly. And it’s so easy to use that it will save you tons of time (and time = money)! Don’t waste your money on the cheap crap from the big box stores. This tool is ROCK SOLID and will last a lifetime! Even the case is heavy duty, with metal latches and space for the extensions should you need them. It even comes with a quality drill bit. But this comes with everything else you need for 99.99% of the cabinet hardware out there, except of course a drill!UPDATE: I’ve been using this jig for months now and I want to change my original rating from 5 stars to TWENTY STARS! (But of course Amazon won’t let me!) Very precision device and very easy to use. My co-workers are no longer laughing at me for spending so much on it and now frequently ask to borrow it! If you regularly install cabinet pulls, you need this. It will save time and make you look like a PROFESSIONAL!

Very good quality product
I am a professional millwork installer that does everything from commercial millwork to custom homes and this tool is very accurate and saves me so much time. Normally I would spend the time to make a custom jig for each pull (handle) size for each project which means up to 5 jigs per job. Now I set up the jig for 1 size, run through and drill out all of the doors with that size, then do drawers of the same size pull. Rinse and repeat for all different sizes. It saves me so much time, is accurate and repeatable.Yes, it’s pricey but well worth the investment for sure.If you are looking for the best, this is it!

Excellent
I had 20 drawer handles to install in one go. This massively increased the speed and accuracy from my usual method of masking tape and two combi squares
